The foundations for letter recognition and phonics are introduced in this group. A basic Letter Land syllabus is followed to prepare the children for grade R. Two and three dimensional shapes are also introduced at this stage as well as basic mathematical skills.

There are a lot more structured activities and formal lessons in this group. Yellow Group is a bridging year to our Grade R class.
